    There are times I think of just
    how much I want to thank you
    for our friendship, but the time
    just never seems right. So now I am
    making this the right time. Please know
    that I always feel these thoughts
    even though I don't say them.

    I am extremely proud to call you my
    friend. Our friendship is such an
    important part of my life. I am deeply
    grateful to you for sharing
    your talents and gifts with me.

    I know I never have to be afraid of
    confiding anything to you, I know you
    will understand.

    I love the way you make me feel so

    I have this friend

    But they really don't care

    They're mean to me

    Am I unaware


    They've given me bruises

    And hurt me inside

    It makes me wonder

    If I should still stand by their side


    They're rude, ignorant

    And just plain immature

    Just being around them

    Makes me so insecure


    I try to be kind

    I can't take it anymore

    And sometimes I explode

    I just have to ignore


    When I ignore them

    The angrier they get

    I really don't like that'

    It makes me fret


    The person they used to be

    Is no longer around

    Instead of helping me up

    They push me to the ground


    They blame everything on me

    And i don't understand why

    They say they don't mean to be mean

    They tell me not to cry


    What kind of a friend does this?

    A kind that gives you bruises?

    The thing is I've been with them most of my life

    Should I be with a friend that abuses?


    They're a really good friend of mine

    But they haven't been acting the same

    Should I always be the one

    In which gets all the blame?


    The friend I'm talking about

    I won't reveal they're true name

    But I must tell you

    Things aren't the same...
