On, 22nd Sept, 2014, India reached an important milestone. It is the ONLY country in the WORLD to successfully place a satellite into Mars orbit at the first attempt!!! Give 100 cheers.
Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM) is India's indegineosly build satellite which has 5 IMP payloads which are going to give us a wealth of info about Mars in the coming future.
