    Wo pani ki lehro pe kya likh raha tha,
    Khuda jaane "harf e dua" likh raha tha,

    likha jis ne nawal wafa ka adhoora,
    wohi "pyaar ki inteha" likh raha tha,

    bhala karte karte guzari jawani,
    magar phir bhi khud ko bura likh raha tha,

    mohabbat main nafrat mili thi use bhi,
    jo har shakhs ko "be wafa" likh raha tha,

    zara us ki aankho se aansoo na nikle,
    wo jis waqt lafz "saza" likh raha tha,

    Namaz e Mohabbat main wo apne,
    hue the jo sajde,"qaza" likh raha tha...
